Donating Multiparameter ICU Monitor By P.E .T®

As we are facing challenges of Covid-19 in our Country, we, the staff and the Management of P.E.T Trust Mandya deemed it as our moral Responsibility to extend our help to the society. Thus on 24th May, 2021,we have Donated 20 Multiparameter ICU Monitors(worth of 10.80 lakhs) to Dr Harish, Director of MIMS(MandyaInstitutite of Medical Science), Mandya (worth of 10.80 lakhs) under the Presidentship of Sri VijayaAnand ,Chairman, P.E.T® and Sri S. L ShivPrasad ,Secretery P.E.T®with all Principals of P.E.T Institutions. Towards this noble venture all the employees of all the institutions of PET(R) have contributed their one day’s salary. President Sri Vijay Anand , Secretaries Sri S L Shivaprasad and Sir Dayanand too have been benevolent in their contribution.

BhimraoRamjiAmbedkar, the Father of the Constitution of India was fondly remembered on 16th April in our Institution.Sri Shivsundar, National level social activist, Writer, Political Analist, inaugurated the function and delivered lecture on ‘Contribution of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar to the society’ and acquainted our students with the crucial role playedby Him in shaping the vibrant democratic structure that India prides upon. Inauguration of I Semester 2020-2021 BATCH

On 07/04/2021 academic activities of first semester of 20-21 batch wasInaugurated by the High achievers of 2019-20 batch students. This welcome function was organized by Alumini Association of our college. In order to motivate freshers highest scorers of 2019-2020 batch Smt.Shubha,SmtPriyanka,SmtSpurthi,SmtAshwini and kum. Amrutha were honoured.

DAY WORKSHOP ON DRAMA AND ART IN EDUCATION

One day workshop was organized on‘Understanding Drama and Art in Education’ (III semester) on 31-03-2021. Lecture was delivered by DrChidanandSoraba. Assistant professor.National College of Education, Shivamogga. He trained students on script writing and enacting a play. The workshop was very useful as the Resource person gave lot of inputs on incorporating Drama in Education.

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

National Science day was celebrated on 22nd March 2021. On this occasion, Guest lecture was organized in the Morning session on the topic- ‘Advances in science and economics’byDr.ThuppilVenkatesh, Lead man of India,Professor Emeritus at St Johns Medical College and visiting Professor at Zubieta University Bolivia and International Level Scientist.The function was Presided by of our Beloved Principal Dr. V D Suvarna.

VISIT TO DHEENABANDHU TRUST, CHAMARAJANAGAR

In order to provide hands on Experience to our students in Preparation of Teaching Learning Materials( T L M), 3rd semester students were taken to a field trip to Dheenabandhu trust at Chamarajanagar. Resource persons of the trust trained our students and gave them required information about various aspects of preparation of TLMs. Students were accompanied by our staff members on 19/03/2021.

WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

On 8th march 2021 ,women’s day was organised by S. G. C .Ed Mandya. This program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest DrNingammaBetsur, Professor Department of Education, Manasagangotri Mysore University, Mysore. The Chief Guest spoke on this year’s theme for the International Day, “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”, and motivated the women in the Institution by appreciating the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The message was well-received by the students and the staff. The functionwas Presided by our Beloved Principal Dr. Suvarna V. D.

MEMORIAL FUNCTION OF SHREE SHANKARAGOWDA

It was our moral onus to pay tribute to the great soul of late Sri ShankaraGowda, founder of our institution and the former Education Minister of Government of Karnataka. The staff and students paid their respects to the excellent Personality on 4^th March 2021. Dr. Suvarna Principal of the College gave a call to all the students and the faculty to emulate the qualities of our beloved founder.
